What is cancer coaching?
Coaching is quite different from therapy in many ways. While a therapist might help you heal your past, as a coach I am helping you focus on the here and now and the future “you” that you desire to be. No one can undo all that has happened in your life, but as your coach, I can use tools and techniques to help you learn from the past and help you set meaningful goals to move you forward.
I will ask questions. I will support you in your decisions. I will help you set goals and most importantly, hold you accountable. I will commit to be with you every step of the way! Our meetings will be virtual; however, I will be available via text and email anytime you need.
I will address your mindset which includes your emotional, spiritual, and mental well-being. The American College of Sports Medicine has done many studies about the benefits of exercise and post cancer. I would also like to introduce you to the benefits of exercise and strength training as part of your journey forward. As a fitness instructor and having had two joint replacements, I understand and appreciate what it takes to overcome physical challenges.

- Up to 2 additional hours per week as needed
